Ready for 2011!

I can’t believe another year is just about gone, again! They go faster and faster EVERY year. So much has happened in 2010, especially in these past few months. We went from waiting and waiting for something to hopefully happen with our Taiwan adoption, to hearing about Uganda, to putting together a dossier at super speed, to bringing home our precious baby girl! We have been so blessed this year and cannot wait to see what He has in store for us in 2011! I know it will be busy with the three kiddos, but I wouldn’t want it any other way. I cannot believe that Jayce will be turning 5 and starting Kindergarten this year. I am excited for him, and I think he will really do great in school. Beckhem will be turning 3 and will be potty trained at some point in this upcoming year (hopefully sooner rather than later, but he still has zero interest :( He has grown so much this past year and is talking more and more each day. I am excited to see how Kai adjusts to being a Harvey. So far, she is doing awesome and seems to feel right at home already. I anticipate her walking within a few months since she is army-crawling everywhere and is already pulling herself up when she gets the chance. There will be many firsts for her this year which will be a lot of fun for all of us. We are so thankful that we were able to bring her home quickly and experience many of these early milestones! Jayson and I will be celebrating 7 years of marriage this year and I can honestly say that they have been great so far! We, of course, have had ups and downs, but way more ups than downs. Jayson is a wonderful husband and a great dad and I am very blessed to have him. I love seeing him with the kids, especially Kai. Lately, he has been putting her to bed at night and she really seems to enjoy this daddy time :) I enjoy getting to have some time with my boys and put them to bed as I always have. I am hoping to see/hear about some progress with Taiwan. I am not saying that I am ready to adopt again right now, but I would love to find out that it will happen either the end of this year or by 2012. After the experience we have had, we are definitely hoping to start the journey again to bringing home another Harvey. So much can happen in a year, and I cannot wait to see where God leads our family and what He has in store for us!
