This is the very first picture we saw of Kai.  She was being picked up from Ibanda Babies Home and taken into our social worker’s care until we could go to Uganda ourselves and get our baby.  We received this October 16th.

This was one of the next pictures we received a few weeks later.  We were so happy to see her smiling and sitting up and playing with toys!

Yay, a more professional looking picture.  I remember thinking she looked so much bigger and healthier.  Seeing this pic, I couldn’t wait to go to Uganda to meet her!

The Bakers went two weeks earlier than us to Uganda and were able to send us some pics of our little girl.  It was great to see her and know that we would be with her in two weeks

Kai’s Gotcha Day, Dec. 4th 2010.  She was smaller than we expected from pics and even more beautiful.  What an AMAZING day!!!!

Now, she is a smiling, happy, healthy baby.  She has changed so much and it is so much fun watching her grow.  We are so thankful to have her in our family.
